Would you like the opportunity to have your writing featured in the Wire’s next issue? This is your chance!

The FMHS Newspaper staff is hosting its first writing contest available to all students at FMHS. The staff will select the top submissions to be published in the May issue of the Wire as well as on the online newspaper. Participation in this contest will meet the writing contest requirement credit for English Honor Society members.

Rules:

• Any form of writing will be accepted.
• Stories can be of any genre, fiction or nonfiction, and must be between 500 and 3000 words in length.
• Poems can be up to 36 lines.
• All entries must be school appropriate in content and language.

All entries are due May 18, 2016
