Get your Instagram ready because Starbucks is offering the Midnight Mint Mocha Frappuccino, a mint infused, “chocolatey beverage” with a layer of whipped cream, for only a limited time. Next week, Starbucks fanatics Emma and Alexis will taste test this new and exciting treat and give it a review. But for now, they will give you their initial thoughts on the Midnight Mint Mocha Frappucino.

Emma:

Just when you thought Starbucks couldn’t think of anything better than the Unicorn Frappuccino, they release this minty delight. I haven’t tried it yet and I’m already imagining the sweet taste of chocolate and refreshing mint crystals on my tongue. The only thing I am hesitant about is the “mocha” in this drink, because I despise the bitter taste of coffee; however, I am staying optimistic. This drink could be the perfect thing to savor while waiting for Girl Scouts come knocking at my door with Thin Mints.

Alexis:

After my treacherous experience with Starbuck’s last experiment, the infamous “Unicorn Frappucino,” to say I’m skeptical of this new drink is an understatement. However, I’ve always been a fan of Starbucks’ frappuccinos, and the times I’ve been impressed outweigh my disappointments by far. As a fan of chocolate, mint, and their beautiful combinations, I’m fairly optimistic to try this drink. Especially with the Frappucino Happy Hour coming up, I’ll definitely be adding this to my “must try” list. However, if i’m disappointed again, I’ll stick with the Java Chip frappucino from then on.
