Boys State

Attention Junior Boys: The time is here to select those junior boys who wish to be nominated for Boys State 2019. The date of the event will be June 9th-June 14th at the University of Texas at Austin. If you are interested, please stop by the counseling office for more information and an application. Applications must be returned by Friday, March 22nd as all interviews for a potential delegate position will be held on Wednesday, March 27th. I Am Second

I Am Second is a group where students share their testimonies every Friday morning form 7:15 am to 7:45 am in room 1230. Everyone is welcome to attend. Please follow us on twitter @fm_iamsecond for all the details. This Friday, Norm Miller, the Chairman of Interstate Batteries, will be giving his testimony. We look forward to seeing you this Friday morning in room 1230 at 7:15am for I Am Second.

Lost and Found

The drawers in the front office are overflowing! Check the Lost and Found today and get your belongings back. All items not claimed by this coming Monday will be donated.

AP Comparative Government and Politics Review Sessions

AP Comparative Government and Politics review sessions will start next Tuesday after school. They will be held every Tuesday in Mr. Washler’s room, 2435. Review sessions will begin at 3:45 and will last about 45 minutes. See you there!

AP US Government Review Sessions

AP US Government review sessions will start Monday after school. They will be held every Monday in Mr. Washler and Mr. Johnson’s rooms. Monday’s review session will be held in Mr. Johnson’s room 2405. Review sessions will begin at 3:45 and will last about 45 minutes. See you there!

Practicum in Marketing Co-Op

Juniors, have you started thinking about your senior year? I am sure you have a bit but have you really thought about the classes you signed up for? Here is something to think about… Practicum in Marketing Co-Op! This class lets you work, get paid, have fun, learn business and marketing skills, and a grade all at the same time. Stop by to talk to Mrs. Brown or your counselor to find out how you can be out of school at 11:35.

Theatre in Our Schools

Holy Cow! An FMHS musical starts being planned as early as nine months before it opens to the public. Definitely go see next year’s musical as well as any or all of the 6 other productions the theatre department puts on each and every year! Have a great Theatre in Our Schools month!
