Hey guys! It’s that time of year to join EHS! If you have an unweighted GPA of 3.3, a 90 average in regular English or 85 in PreAp/ AP English, you should join EHS! Head to one of the sponsor’s rooms (room 1400, 1415, 1545) for more information about how to apply! Returning members, be looking for canvas announcements about future meetings and point opportunities.

Are you passionate about helping the environment? Would you like to earn some service hours? If so, Globally Green may be the club for you! We are meeting on Wednesday, September 11th in Ms. Westbrook’s room, 2370 at 7:40 AM. Participate in the 2019 Keep Flower Mound Beautiful Trash Bash on Saturday, September 28th. This is an excellent way to serve your community and earn service hours! So sign up outside of room 2370! We hope to see you soon!

The Computer Science Club will have its first meeting Monday, September 9, at 3:35 pm in room 2150. If you are interested in computer programming or computer science or you are interested in competing in UIL Computer Science (Java knowledge required) come join us ! Any questions, stop by and see Mrs. Hitch Ex-programming students – Mrs. Hitch needs you to compete in UIL. You know who you are- go by and see her!

Hey jags! Is the start of the new school stressing you out? Do you want to learn more about wellness? If so, join Project Wellness! Our first meeting is on September 11th at 7:45 AM in Mrs. West’s class room 1420. Snacks will be provided. We hope to see you there!

IF YOU ARE AUDITIONING FOR THE ALL SCHOOL MUSICAL, REMEMBER THAT DANCE AUDITIONS ARE THIS SATURDAY IN THE DANCE ROOM. ASSIGNED TIMES CAN BE FOUND IN THE MUSICAL CANVAS COURSE. SINGING AUDITIONS ARE NEXT SATURDAY IN THE CHOIR ROOM. SIGN UPS FOR THE SINGING AUDITIONS CAN BE FOUND IN DRAMA A. STOP BY BEFORE OR AFTER SCHOOL TO SIGN UP FOR YOUR SINGING AUDITION TIME. REMEMBER YOU HAVE TO ATTEND BOTH THE DANCING AND THE SINGING AUDITION TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THE MUSICAL. IF YOU HAVE ANY QUESTIONS, SEE TO THEATER TEACHER. Next week is the LAST week to register for the PSAT! The test is an optional test for Juniors and students must register and pay for the test. The cost is $ 17.00 and regular registration runs now through September 13 at 3PM. To register go to the Flower Mound website and from the Menu button, go to resources, and the testing information page. If you want to pay in person, you still have to register on line, but you can pay in room in 1460 during all lunches.

Hey Jags! Our first NHS meeting is next week on Thursday the 12th at 7:45 in the morning and 3:45 in the afternoon in the library. We will discuss new service opportunities, plans for this new school year, and much more! See you there! Also, earn some hours for NHS by helping decorate our hallways for homecoming! We’ll be making posters on Sunday the 8th at 2pm. If you have any questions, swing by Mrs. Crabtree’s classroom at 1435, or check out our twitter @nhsfmhs.

FMHS Science Club: If you are interested in joining the FMHS Science Club, come see Mrs. Wilhite in room 2445. If you have a love and passion for the sciences, please consider joining. We will have another meeting Monday, Sept. 9, after school in Mrs. Wilhite’s room to talk about our homecoming carnival booth

Attention all FM9 StuCo Members: If you missed the meeting this morning please attend this afternoon at 3:45 pm in room 9114. All StuCo members that have turned in paperwork and paid dues should be present at one of the two meetings.
