Attention all pre-AP and AP English students: If you begin pre-AP or AP English in January, be sure you have completed your summer reading assignment before the first day of class. Bring your books and anything that you need to submit to your teacher on the first day of class. If you are not planning on completing your summer reading assignment, see your counselor to discuss your options. You will not be able to level-out of pre-AP or AP English until after the third week of class if you do not take care of this before the break.

Join Science Olympiad. It is team in which you can learn about topics of your interest and then apply that knowledge in competitive. This is a great opportunity for those of you who are interested in the STEM field to decide which area of STEM you like. Also, joining would allow you to enrich Your achievement in the STEM field. Our information meeting will be on Tuesday, December 17 běfore school at 7:50 and after school at room 2320. Olympiad!

Calling all students, teachers, and Secret Santas! Need help finding a holiday gift? Well, the Art Club is here to save the day! Today during ALL Mondays, we’re having a Button Sale! Buttons are just a $ 1 each, and makethe perfect gift! At that price you can gift one to yourself too! So look for our table by the library and stock up on these awesome stocking stuffers. Hey everyone! There is a Globally Green meeting this Wednesday morning in room 2370 at 7:40. We will be discussing our presentation at Inspire Fest. Christmas is a time of giving. Just make sure you reuse things such as gift bags and tissue paper! Don’t forget, we are participating in the Bags for Benches programs with The Lions Club. Please bring in your clean and dry plastic bags to contribute to the Recycling Challenge bin in the front lobby. Our goal is to reach 500 pounds to build an eco-friendly park bench!

The FMHS Art Open is still intaking artwork today during all lunches outside the library. Make sure your artwork is matted and show ready so everyone can see your creativity !! And good luck !!

From the library: Don’t forget to grab a book to read over the winter break! If you have finished reading your library books, please turn them into the library before the break. If you are graduating early, you must turn in your Library books by Wednesday, December 18 or pay for your lost book. Happy reading!
