Comedy and adventure are the underlying themes in the four productions slated for the 2012-13 season of the award-winning Flower Mound High School Theatre Department.
The year opens October 11-13 with Charley’s Aunt, a three-part comedy widely regarded as one of the most sensational and entertaining farces of all time. Presented by the Dramatic Paws, Charley’s Aunt follows college undergraduates Jack and Charley in a tale of young love and preposterous deception in their search of a chaperone for a proper visit from their girlfriends. Curtain time each performance is 7:00 p.m. with tickets $8.00 for adults and $6.00 for students.
The Dramatic Paw ‘Prents will perform the magical adventure tale, The Hobbit, on December 6-7 at 7:00 p.m. Based on the classic tale by J.R.R. Tolkien, hobbit Bilbo Baggins enjoys rousing adventure stories and his love of a good story puts him on a perilous quest that comes to greatly benefit all of the hobbits who inhabit Middle Earth. Tickets for the evening performances of The Hobbit are $5.00.
