This week, the Flower Mound High School varsity tennis team went to Denton Ryan High School to play the fourth district match of the season. Looking to improve their district record to 4-1, they went in with a goal in mind, crushing the Raiders 18-1. Almost all the matches were won with very little games lost in the match, or none at all.
“We came in and did what was expected of us,” head coach Brad Wikse said. “Now we need to keep practicing hard to get ready for Marcus.”
Next Tuesday, the Jaguars are facing off against their district rivals, the Marcus Marauders. The match will be held at the FMHS tennis courts at 3:30 P.M.
