Interested in writing? Need some creative outlet for your imagination? Want prizes and grants for your abilities?  The United States Achievement Academy (USAA) is accepting nominations from teachers in their biannual short story contest. Each student recognized by the USAA is nominated by a teacher, counselor, coach or community leader as among the sponsor’s top students. The stories should be 500-750 words in length and there are no restrictions on content, as long as it is creative.  Stories must be received by December 18, 2013.
