No one has cancelled Halloween as a whole, but a lot of popular events have been cancelled, including but not limited to most haunted houses, theme parks, pumpkin patches, and corn mazes.
Numerous states have cancelled trick or treating this year due to COVID-19, but as of right now Texas has not. Even so, that does not mean that it will not be cancelled. If you plan on going trick or treating you should go in a small group, wear a mask at all times, bring some hand sanitizer, and only accept candy with a wrapper and not toys. Finally, when you get home, you should sterilize your candies, but most importantly be safe.
