Chick-Fil-A Closed Temporarily
February 22, 2016
Chick-fil-A, the popular fast food restaurant in Founder’s Square, has recently closed down temporarily for renovations. The restaurant has been a part of the Flower Mound community for more than 15 years and is due for an upgrade. The renovations will last for five weeks, and Chick-fil-A will reopen to the public during Spring Break.
Once the renovations are complete, the interior of Chick-fil-A will be entirely new. The floors, walls, counters, and even lighting will be replaced and the kitchen will be upgraded to keep up with customer demands. A double drive-thru will also be added, and the capacity will increase from 120 cars per hour to over 150, ideally lessening the back up onto 2499.
“The renovations should allow us to serve customers even better than before,” owner and operator Jason Driscoll said. “Our customers deserve a beautiful place to enjoy their Chick-fil-A and we are happy to reinvest into our community.”
