Junior Elishka Hall settled in Flower Mound during her sophomore year after moving from Madison, Alabama. Passionate about journalism, she joined the newspaper staff to learn the nuances of reporting and to write articles that matter to her peers. She is driven by topics that are for and about teenagers, such as social media, mental health, and body image, issues unique to her generation. Elishka is a collector of “pretty things,” including porcelain dolls, decorative masks, and more. She enjoys dark comedy and TV shows such as Dexter, and her hobbies include doing her makeup. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family and her American shorthair calico cat.
