Rafan Rahman is an 18-year-old senior that enjoys working out, basketball, tennis, music, and reading outside of school. He’s also in robotics club and volunteers at Sunlight Initiative, a nonprofit organization. He’s worked at McDonald’s and had a seasonal job at the Gaylord. Rafan joined the newspaper to improve his writing skills , and hopes to contribute by writing interesting stories. After high school he intends to pursue a business major, aiming for accounting or finance, and sees newspaper as a way to help enhance his communication skills. 

Rafan is a senior, and this is his first year with the FM Wire.
