English Honor Society to Provide Tutoring

Newest to Flower Mound’s many tutoring programs is EHS, where members of the English Honor Society have set times when they will tutor fellow students in the English curriculum.

“The program provides help in EOC writing,” said EHS sponsor Ms. Greenlaw, “as well as proofreading and revision for any current English class.”

Students now have the ability to go to their more knowledgeable classmates with their English struggles, creating a better understanding between those being tutored and their peers.

“Students are more receptive to comments about their writing if those comments come from fellow students,” Ms. Greenlaw said.

EHS Tutoring classes are held Tuesday mornings from 7:45-8:10. On December 4, the class will be held in room 1305; December 11, room 1435. Any further dates and room numbers can be found on posters in the English hallway, as well as the main hallway.
