New Boundary Lines for FMHS

During this past semester, the administrators for LISD decided to make a committee composed of two parents from each elementary and middle school that feeds into Flower Mound High School. The committee will form new boundaries for the nine elementary and three middle schools in hopes of regulating the high number of students at Flower Mound.

On January 10,the parents brought in all of the proposals and narrowed the choices down to two new sets of boundaries. The next committee meeting will be an open one, so the public may share their ideas and thoughts on the new borders. The meetings will be an on February 6, 6:30 PM at Forestwood Middle School, and again on February 12, 6:30 PM at Mckamy Middle School. After the February meetings, the committee will propose their ideas for new boundary lines to the LISD Board of Trustees in March.
