Tuesday 3/7/23

Exam exemption forms are now available in the Suite B attendance office. Only seniors with a 9 week course and students with a qualifying AP course qualify. Your exemption sheet must be signed and turned in by the end of the day Wednesday, 3/8/ You will leave your signed form with the last teacher that signs your form, or you can bring it back to Suite B. Don’t forget – if you are on the edge with absences, one more absence, even on exam day, will forfeit your exemption. If you have any questions regarding your absences, please see your attendance clerk!

The Flower Mound Senior Citizens in Motion Activity Center would like to offer two high school seniors the chance to win a $1,000 scholarship. Please pick up an application packet in the counseling office. The instructions for submitting your application can be found on the forms. Please mail your application packet by March 31st. Good luck!

If you haven’t heard, Stitch Perfect is our new Crochet and Knitting Club on campus. If you have experience or just want to learn how, this club is for you. We meet every Wednesday after school in Mrs. Dearing’s room (2130) or Mrs. Zost’s room (2120). If you have any questions or just want more information, stop by and see Mrs. Dearing anytime. So, come on by tomorrow after school and join the fun.

Textbooks for the current 9 week courses ending March 10th will be collected on Wednesday, March 8th.

If you have checked out a textbook, be prepared to turn it in to your classroom teacher (for that subject) on or before March 8th. If you need to keep your textbook, to study for an exam, turn your book into Suite A no later than Friday, March 10th. We need every textbook back before the break. Thank you for your help with this.

Attention French Club members: our next in-school meeting is today, Tuesday, March 7 at 3:45 in Madame Denton’s room. We will discuss our upcoming Movie Night. Merci!
