Entering her junior year, this is Ellen Hirst’s first year on the newspaper staff. She is very welcoming and empathetic towards others, and loves trying new things! Career wise, she would love to study architecture, but also loves exploring different areas of study every day. When it comes to school, she is a hard worker and particularly excels in math and english classes. She also enjoys reading fantasy books in her free time, and her favorite book is The Mysterious Benedict Society by Trenton Lee Stewart. Ellen also loves the comforting season of autumn, and particularly enjoys the TV show Gilmore Girls.
