After defeating South Grand Prairie with a score of 28-21, Flower Mound lost to Colleyville Heritage on September 14. The final score was 35-14. Although it took many attempts, quarterback Matt Hirst eventually broke through the Panthers’ defensive line and scored the first touchdown for the Jaguars. Hoping to turn the game around, quarterback Connor Wanhanen led the offensive on a final scoring drive, ending in a touchdown. Despite the loss, FMHS plans to redeem themselves at this Friday’s home game against Grapevine High School.
