Jaguar Baseball Players Participate in Meals on Wheels

Jaguar senior baseball players and their families helped Meals on Wheels of the Visiting Nurses Association deliver meals to people that cannot secure food for themselves. The players in their families helped deliver over two-hundred meals on eight different routes.

Meals on Wheels is a program that delivers freshly-cooked meals to individuals who cannot cook or buy their own food. Since many of the recipients are elderly they are also home bound. Not only do the seniors get a fresh cooked meal they also get to interact with the volunteers, which for some is a rare treat.
