Dropping the Hammer

The FMHS football booster club sold t-shirts from October 4 to October 11 during all lunches. The t-shirts are a bright shade of pink and say “Drop the Hammer on Breast Cancer” on the front in white lettering.

T-shirts were sold for $10 each. The FMHS booster club raised a total of $3,300 from selling the shirts. All the money raised was donated to the Susan G. Komen foundation. The check for $3,300 as presented to the Komen foundation at the homecoming on Friday, October 19th at the beginning of the half-time show.

Most of the 330 students that bought the shirts wore them during school on Friday, October 19th in support of Breast Cancer Awareness month.
